Responsible Sourcing Initiative Africa Director, Sonia Orwa, joined the webinar to explore how extended producer responsibility (EPR) can support better product design, reuse, refurbishment, and recycling while protecting and improving the livelihoods of informal collectors, dismantlers, and aggregators. Drawing on Responsible Sourcing Initiative projects in Africa and India, Sonia shared how responsible sourcing can help close the inclusion gap in EPR systems.
