Human Rights in Plastics Recycling Supply Chains: Making Responsible Sourcing a Reality

The Circulate Initiative co-hosted a webinar alongside AIM-Progress and The Consumer Goods Forum to explore strategies for addressing human rights challenges in plastics recycling supply chains. The session showcased best practices and real-world examples for implementing responsible sourcing practices with insights from senior industry experts. The Circulate Initiative’s Director of Programs, Annerieke Douma, walked the attendees through the Harmonized Responsible Sourcing Framework for Recycled Plastics, developed with input from the informal sector, as a key resource to support ethical practices in the plastics recycling value chain.
