Esa oversees communications activity on The Circulate Initiative’s digital and social media channels, in addition to supporting the overall communications program.

Esa has five years of experience in sustainability communications in Indonesia and Australia, spanning sectors such as waste management, the circular economy, climate education, and nature-based solutions.

Prior to joining The Circulate Initiative, Esa served as Communications Manager at Greeneration Foundation in Indonesia, where she spearheaded the communications strategies for five programs focused on waste management and the circular economy, with the objective of driving behavioural change. She also oversaw stakeholder engagement with corporate partners, government agencies, international donors, and media representatives.

Esa holds a Master of Communication for Social Change from the University of Queensland, Australia, and a Bachelor of Social Science in International Relations from the University of Indonesia.
