This article reports that Can Tho, a city in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam, is seeking stronger cooperation with Hiroshima prefecture in Japan, particularly in the areas of environmental protection and climate change adaptation. Can Tho is seeking technological consultations and potential investors in fields such as waste and wastewater treatment, seafood processing technology, information technology, tourism, and energy. The two cities also discussed potential cooperation in environmental monitoring, solid waste landfill management, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
