This document outlines the Project Development Objective (PDO) proposed that is aimed to improve solid waste management services for urban populations in selected cities across Indonesia. This project aims to enhance waste management in Indonesia's metropolitan cities and regions, specifically in collaboration with the World Bank to improve the national environmental program of Citarum Harum, and it will be supervised by the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works and Housing and the Director General of Cipta Karya, prioritizing Bandung City, Cimahi City, Bandung Regency, and West Bandung Regency to reduce waste accumulation in the Citarum River, as well as other cities/districts with high commitment to improving waste management performance.
