This mapping covers plastic production and processing, use of plastics or plastic containing products, and disposal of the products. This resource looks at loss of plastic by geography and differentiates by 23 different types of plastic. The resource also identifies hotspots for macro and micro plastics.The report concludes by noting the gaps and areas for future research.
