The report looks at the main trends in municipal systems of segregated waste collection along with activities to support autonomous waste pickers along with waste picker cooperative members. The resource bases findings on primary data and information gathered through surveys of the cooperatives and associations of waste pickers of recyclable materials during the COVID-19 pandemic.
