This document outlines WWF's stance on plastic crediting and plastic neutrality, stating that they do not support these terms as they do not accurately reflect environmental impact. Instead, WWF advocates for credible plastic crediting systems that contribute to transformational change, as long as they are supported by transparent reporting, strong prerequisites, and social and environmental safeguards. These systems can serve as an additional approach to robust plastic waste reduction strategies.
