Plastic Bank (PB) works with partners to increase plastic collection and sells Social Plastic Collection Credits to fund these activities. Each SPCC guarantees the recovery of 1 kilogram of ocean bound plastic. PB also has a Impact Guarantee Program where organizations can make an impact investment to support plastic collection infrastructure. Finally, the PB offers Social Plastic (Pellet or flake feedstock of rPET, rHDPE, rLDPE, and rPP) which has an auditable and traceable supply chain of recovered plastic feedstock enabled through a partnership with IBM.
