This document analyses the application of Refuse Derived Fuels (RDFs) in Indonesia, its impact on the environment, and provides a set of recommendations on handling RDFs in the country. This document highlights that RDFs production is not a solution to solve plastic waste issue Indonesia especially without strong law enforcement at place to monitor RDFs production. Through this document, the authors recommended the production of RDFs should meet the nation’s regulation and that the local government should invest in the improvement of waste management system in the country.
