Advancing Responsible Sourcing in India

In this webinar hosted by UNDP India, Responsible Sourcing Initiative Director, Madhu Narayan,  and Responsible Sourcing Initiative India Director, Arun Murugesh,  introduced the implementation of the Harmonized Responsible Sourcing Framework for Recycled Materials to advance responsible sourcing.

The discussion also explored what responsible sourcing must deliver in practice, including economic empowerment for informal waste workers, protecting human rights across recycling value chains, addressing complex risks such as migration and child labour, and building inclusive, accountable, and scalable solutions.
